Let me create something for you!
Commissions is when you want something specific, but can't seem to find it. Most of my fan art have been from friends and fans commissioning me. When I travel to conventions, I offer to do "on-the-spot" drawings for attendees. The following images will be examples of those since March 2016. The standards are set on 8"x 11" multipurpose paper, colored with watercolors with either full body character or full page (depending on composition).
The "Fanart" sections have examples of more in depth commissions that were made. Remember to browse and if you have questions then do message!
A Sketch
Sketches tend to have a fair amount of shading to give some depth.
Ink
If the image is full body or with a large amount of detail then the inking is clean. When the composition is suited more for only part of the figure then I'll add shading to add value to the image.

Color
This is the most popular choice because of the great price. When coloring, I will choose a focus color to make the image pop., there will be light shading, and clean line work
